I wouldn't actually call this game "Zelda", since, well, it's mainly a multiplayer concept instead of a true and reasonable single player experience like most games are. And those blue knight enemies are also one of the most ridiculous next to Moblins (armed with spears or arrows), because you can't hurt even their sides like you can in the original NES Zelda, so it's only their backs unarmoured for striking at. That "Hero's Trial" stage challenge is indeed very cleverly-designed to give you all the sneaky tricks you probably never imagined. Constant damage and death taking all over (especially just single player style without partners for aid) can get rather annoying and unfair at times.
